Ari no Mamma - Se7en

OHMYGOSH.

OMGH!

I'm soooo amazed!!

today i wanted to haolian to my parents that i can count in thai 1-10.. then guess what, i forgot 6.. so i was pondering.. and suddenly my dad completed the sequence!!

and.. my dad.. can speak melaya fluently. can speak basic thai and korean!!

OMG!! MY DAD CAN SPEAK KOREAN!! I GOT A SHOCK WHEN HE "yaw-bu-seyo" ME!! and my mum laughed and laughed cos i taught her that!!

wahhh my dad is soooo impressive. apparently he picked up korean cos he stayed in korea for 2 WHOLE MONTHS!! omg i soooo never knew that!! he was playing in the Asian Cup finals then.. OMG!! my dad is SOOOO cool!!

and he picked up thai because he was a sailor, and he travelled to thailand frequently.

wahhhh im sooo jealous of my dad!! he went to sooo many countries before cos of his tournaments and also from sailing.

I HAVE A COOL DAD!!

i dug myself furiously out of bed this morning.

i almost almost didnt make it for church. i dreamt i overslept. and i think i believed it. until i realise, how i know i oversleep when i haven look at the clock.

suddenly my alarm ring. then i thought it was the .. snozzle?? whatever its called.

then i took a chance and looked at my phone.

8.50am.

WAH!! thats my correct alarm timing. so i dragged my feet and all to bathe.. and finally i left at ard 950am.. lolx.. took a cab.. reached a lil lil late only. im glad got seat though.. half afraid of overflow.

i took a cab back to TM again to meet my mum cos she wanted to buy me a chinese -.- birthday cake. she insists im 21. when i reach home, guess what??

my mum bought me a camcorder!

i mean, its not a very good brand or anything. BUT STILL! she has never ever been so.. generous?? or rather.. unless i ask her to buy for me. so i was like,"huh? why would you buy me this?"

and her answer was,"becos you know how to use what."

wah im very touched.. hahaha apparently i think she bought this while discussing with her colleague what to get me. and that colleague got her a good deal.

wah. but happy happy. AH-CLUB!! i bring on national day kk??!! :D

God is amazing in so many different ways!!

hahaha i really am very short hor.

today i was talking to one of my orientation people from mj.. so we cant remember each other. so my description of myself was,"the short one. from AHS."

anyway im super touched!! hahahaha by this person i know from the chinese department. i think cos she ask me my age.. so i was like,"blah blah after (a particular) wed, i wont be 19 anymore."

i cant re when we talked bout it.. i dont even remember telling her. but then recently i met her and then she suddenly say,"aey! your birthday you purposely take leave ah?"

so i was like,"aey! how you know?"

"cos i was looking for you ma! i went up and down but i didnt see you for the whole night."

"orh.. ya lor.. i was on leave.. hehe"

"aiyah! i got something for you that day!"

"oh! issit?? aiyah.. thank you so much for the hao yi."

so nice right?? as in.. we hardly exchanged even more than a few lines!! but i thought its very sweet of her. i thought no one in office will know my bday.. cept for xk la.. but she was my friend ma..

Rehab - Amy Winehouse

im finally done with harry potter and the deathly hallows.

felt like i needed to type the whole title just to give it justice. cos i truly believe this is the best book in the entire series. will there be another book?? i cant imagine actually.. but one part of me wanted to shout,"i knew it!" at the end.. and another part of me,"OMG! LOLX!"

i've been reading since saturday.. and with great feat did i manage to finish the book. i must admit, i went back to book 6 in the middle of book 7 cos i couldnt remember some stuff. i completed the last 100 pages i couldnt complete before book 7.

anyway so much to do left me with little time AND energy to read. but yay!! i did it!! lolx..

anyway the movie HPOTTP grossed 44.4million in its opening night in the US alone.. on a wednesday night. and within 12 days, have grossed 558.8million dollars around the world. thats.. ALOT. no wonder rowling's rich.

i should return to my dramas. yawn. i had so much to blog.. but i forgot alot le.. many many new albums that i have again.. whee!!

Harry Potter Book Launch @ Borders feed

i got my book 7.. by *gasp* queueing for one hour.

i was damn sure there's gonna be nobody.. well.. ok a little people when i collect my book yesterday at popular tm.

my mum told me that i should bring my book or my ipod along. so i said(from past experience),"no need la!! very fast one!"

so when i reach tm, there were dressed up witches/wizards ushering us(as in ppl collecting the book) saying,"this way up please. the book has launched!"

so i follow the directions la, feeling happy cos dont have to wait so long.. (think when i reached was between 7-705am..)

then when the lift door open, i got a shock la. SO MANY MANY PEOPLE!!

i couldnt even see popular!! but i could see times, which was snaking a long long queue too.. but shorter than popular's.

sianz. so i queue. abit regretting that i didnt bring anything.

in the midst of waiting for the book, i saw these particular two boys, who were poring the back of the book. "tsk." hahahaha but then something damn funny happened.

boy 1(in chinese):"i know the ending of the book le!!"
boy 2(in english):"what?!"
boy 1(in singlish):"harry potter you san ge children(harry potter has 3 children)!!"

lolx!! everyone in the queue turn to them la!! like.. supressing laughter.. HAHAHA

of cos i dont know the ending yet.. but if it is.. OMG!! lolx but pls pls do not spoil it for me. thanks thanks. thats why im not venturing into other's blogs for now til i've finished the book. i actually read my last 100 pages of book 6 again when book 7 mention some locket i dont exactly remember.

anyway i thought it was really funny when i finally reach the entrance, there were soo many posters saying "free this..", "free that.."

lolx for eg,"present your harry potter book at macdonalds from 7am-11am for a free sausage mcmuffin with every purchase of a hotcakes meal. the harry potter book launch is proudly supported by mcdonalds.

LOLX!! but the posters all look kinda tasty.

ok anyway got my book. went home. looked at the clock. OMG!! i've been gone more than an hour!! and if you know where i live, it really takes less than 5 to get down to tm.

BTW!! johan from PA(one of the ndp participant) says that he got the pirated version of the new book!! as in the fanfiction one that was apparently the "leaked version".. and its also 600++pages long!!

i notice that book 6 and 7 both have exactly 607 pages. on purpose?? but book 6 the font bigger.. but its thicker than book 7 with smaller font.

i dont understand why the book is for kids now though since me myself also quite confused here and there. have to read carefully.

but then again.. i dont deny the increasing levels of IQ of the kids now.

oh last thing, did you know there are many hotlines set up for HP, incase of children losin' it cos of the deaths?? hehehe quite hilarious but apparently yes, many have been quite traumatised.

(omg the above is in my news bulletin, i so hope they wont reveal who died!! i haven finished!! im still at 185 only!!)
